Dr. Christina Greer is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Fordham University. Her research and teaching focus on American politics, black ethnic politics, urban politics, quantitative methods, Congress, New York City and New York State politics, campaigns and elections, and public opinion. Prof. Greer's book Black Ethnics: Race, Immigration, and the Pursuit of the American Dream investigates the increasingly ethnically diverse black populations in the US from Africa and the Caribbean. Prof. Greer received her BA from Tufts University and her MA, MPhil, and PhD in Political Science from Columbia University.
Jonathan Katz is a senior fellow and directs the Frontlines of Democracy Initiative with The German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) based in the Washington, DC, office. Prior to joining GMF from 2014-17, Katz was the deputy assistant administrator in the Europe and Eurasia bureau at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Prior to joining USAID, from 2010-14, Katz served as a senior advisor to the assistant secretary in the International Organization Affairs Bureau at the U.S. Department of State.
Prior to joining the State Department in 2010, Katz had several leadership roles in the U.S. Congress. .
Earlier in his career, Katz helped to lead several congressional campaigns. He received a bachelor's in speech communications from Syracuse University in 1994.
